Festival Time

Well I took the kids to the fall foliage festival today and you would've thought that they had never done anything so cool in their entire life!! I
was actually planning on taking them to this place called Lark Ranch down in loogootee today but Warren called and asked me if i could work for him tonight so we postponed that trip for sunday and took them to the festival for a couple of hours today. Well i did mike was at the race track with dad so it was just a mom day which doesn't happen very often anymore. The kids LOVED it, hunter looked at me and said "MOM i'm having SOOO Much fun today" it was soooo stinking cute and they ended the day with a couple of new stuffed animals (that they got to make on their own at Animal Land in martinsville) and 2 MONSTER bags of cotton candy!! All was good in life!! I had to put up a few new pics of them since i haven't had new pics of them taken in FOREVER!! This one of alivia is SOOO her, chatting freaking Kathy now let me tell you!!! Poor thing she talks so much that really no one listens to her because you just start to tune out after the first 200 minutes!!Gosh dang they are cute together, i LOVE when they are actually getting along. They are both getting so big sooo fast. Today alivia was SMASHING her hair down to her face and she kept doing it and finally i just asked her "what in the heck are you doing" she said she was making her hair straight like mine, so i told her that my hair was curly like hers. She then said that she wanted hair like Maci's. Well for those of you that don't know maci she has beautiful long BONE STRAIGHT hair. Poor sis we could stream iron her hair and it would never be that straight, so i told her that sometimes maci's mommy curls maci's hair so that it looks like alivia's because alivia has such beautiful hair too (she does curl her hair every once in a while but it has nothing to do with sis's hair but she doesn't know that) SO anyway then alivia was like "ohhhh really mommy" and i told her yes and then she shook her hair out and let her curls go flying like they usually are and was once again happy with her looks, at least for now. It's amazing to me that at age 3 she already wants to look like someone else, why is that i wonder, she's such a beautiful little girl how am i supposed to teach her to be happy with who she is, geese this parenting stuff is getting harder by the day !!!
