So we took the kids to this kick ass place this fall called Lark Ranch, www.larkranch.com. Anyway it's like a preschoolers dream come true!!
They had everything from horse back rides to bounce houses to hay rides to cotton candy. It was like a fair, carnival, festival, pumpkin patch all rolled into one. Mike &
I were seriously impressed with this place, it was super cheap to get into and all of the stuff there was really inexpensive (and if I say it's cheap with TWO kids then it must be cheap) and there was a TON of stuff to do. Honestly we were there for like 4 hours and STILL didn't do
everything they had there to do. We finally left after the kids almost fell asleep on the hay ride! It was a blast, they loved it.
We went in October (apparently they are only open Sept & Oct) and it was absolutely BEAUTIFUL outside. It's all the way in Loogootee so it took us a while to get there but it was SOOO much fun, we will definitely be
returning there next fall.

This was a thing they had for Halloween where the kids dressed up and they had lunch and a little play/sing-a-long with Francis the Friendly
Witch and then they got goodie bags and got to go through the haunted house the museum puts on. The kids had fun, they love dressing up in their costumes any and every chance they get. After we got done with the theater we went and hung out at the museum, the kids call it the dinosaur
place since they have the enormous dinosaurs coming out of the side of the building. We got annual passes last year and have been probably 10 times this year but they expire at the end of Jan and since we live in Bloomington now it almost to far of a drive to get another season pass.
The wonderlab in bloomington is really nice too though (just smaller scale) and it's right down the road so they may be a better option. I like taking the kids to places like that because they have fun but even at their age it's educational. The next thing that rolled around was HALLOWEEN!! OMG they were excited. It was the first time we got to go trick or treating from our new house which they thought was cool (probably because there are like 600
other kids in our neighborhood). Hunter had his friend, Patrick, come trick or treating with us. I said that Patrick was hunter's friend, well i think i should elaborate that Patrick is Hunter's BESTEST BESTEST FRIEND!! These 2 little goobers are joined at the hip at school and they hang out at each others houses on
the weekends. It's sooo funny and they are both just as dorky as dorky could be!!! They are really sweet though, if one of them hasn't been at school for a couple of days then when they get back they run and hug each other and go "ohh i missed you soo much!" It sounds a little funny but it's
cute!! Hunter & Patrick took off out of our house headed for the candy and Alivia was whining to be held before we got 2 blocks down the road. Hunter was headed for the hills!! Poor Patrick kept up with him for most of the night but proving himself the MOST HYPER kid alive hunter wore poor patrick out too. Alivia knew better then to even attempt the feat!! By the end of the night Patrick was SCREAMING at hunter to just please SLOW DOWN!! Alivia was really sweet though and said "it's ok patrick you can walk with me" (god she's a sweet girl) and hunter wasn't paying attention to anyone other then the bag of candy in his hands and the many doors he still had left to knock on!! Oh and yes i dressed up too, COME ON NOW, you KNOW i love me some halloween!! OH and i HAD
to include the half naked picture of hunter waiting outside for mike to light the ginormous pumpkin Dad & Dorlisa got the kids. It was sooo funny. I'm glad my camera has a good flash!!
